At Elite Home Inspections, I pride myself in helping every home buyer or seller to acquire the most through home inspection possible. Once complete I will personally walk the property with you the client and explain my findings. Then I will provide you with an easy-to-read report complete with detailed photographs and narrative descriptions so you will have the necessary information to make informed and educated decisions with regard to your home purchase or getting your home ready to sell.

  • First time Home Buyer – Buying a home for the first time is an exciting adventure and it should stay that way. Have confidence in your judgement to make one of the biggest investment you will make in your life. Allowing a home inspector to inspect your dream home will give you and your family a sense of certainty. A home inspection will give you a snap shot picture of what the condition of the house is at the time of the inspection, making you aware of the health of the house you are about to purchase. As a home inspector I promise to have YOUR best interest at heart and provide you with the needed information to make sure you are not investing in a “money pit”.
  • Pre Listing Inspection – If you are getting ready to put your house up for sale getting a home inspection will put you ahead of the competition. This will allow you to learn and fix those things that could potentially stall or even kill an offer to purchase. A pre listing home inspection will allow you to find and fix those issues before going to market and many times those repairs can be advertised as upgrades. Taking this approach could also allow you to get a higher asking price, shorten your time on the market, eliminate any opportunity for renegotiation, and reduce the time between getting an offer to purchase and the time necessary to close the sale.
  • Pre Purchase Inspection – Buying a home is stressful enough without finding out later there are underlying issues and conditions with your new home purchase. This is why you should have a home inspection completed before making a final commitment to buying a home. Getting an un-bias opinion and investigation of your dream home and its components is a good safeguard to protect you from buying into a potential money pit, and assuring you a level playing field from the day you move in.
  • New Construction Warranty Inspection – You’ve purchased a newly construction home and the time has come to take advantage of your Builder’s warranty. Having a home inspection in that eleventh month will arm you with the right tool to be sure the builder is correcting ALL of the naturally occurring problems that arise in newly constructed buildings during the first year. Not simply those items which appear on the surface but also those items not normally detected by the normal home owner.
  • Radon Testing - Radon gas has been identified as the second leading cause of lung cancer, second only to cigarette smoking. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas. It comes from the decay of uranium that is found in nearly all soils. Radon gas is colorless, odorless, and without taste. The presence of radon in a home cannot be detected by human senses. The only way to know if your home contains radon gas is to test. EPA recommends that homes with high Radon concentration above 4 pCi/L be mitigated. There are many straight-forward reduction techniques that will work in almost any home. If your home is found to be troubled with Radon the cost of mitigation is always a negotiable item. We make radon testing reliable, accurate and much easier for our clients. We strongly urge all home owners to test their homes for radon.  Whether you are planning to sell your home or remain in it you should have your home tested. Feel free to use this link to see the level of severity on your target area.
